The Smart Phone???

Aaargh!! My patience is tested by God everyday! Just when I pat myself on the back and tell myself how patient I have become after 50+ years...something new always comes along that God brings to the table! God gave me the desire to learn, and I should be thankful, because it keeps me on my toes.

Like it or not, my son introduced the smart phone to me. It was justified because our family would be on a cheaper phone plan. Why do they call it "smart phone"?  It just makes me feel stupid and slow - ha ha! It's hard enough to answer a phone call...it has taken me several tries!!! So if my friends have a hard time getting a hold of me lately, they now know why!

Whereas our kids intuitively just press buttons and learn as they go...I am "old school" and need a manual to read and tell me how.  So getting to know and most importantly, just use my smart phone is a very slow process. I guess I will tackle it little by little, a day at a time.

Now, I am a new blogger, and along with that comes using my camera...and organizing and such on my computer...another new skill to learn. Hopefully, I will be able to master some basics and make this blog interesting!

Here are some recent quilts that our Healing Hands Ministry created:

This is a quilt I just finished for a teenager who loves surfboards, cherry blossoms, and her favorite colors are red and black. She has been seriously ill for months, and has been going to Stanford Medical Center. Please pray for her as they are still trying to determine what is the illness and cause of it - especially during these upcoming seven weeks....she is undergoing special treatments. (Kathy helped me with the design.)
This quilt on the right is made for a 100-year old woman! Beautifully quilted by one of our group!

This is a quilt made by Jewel.  We presented it to a recipient, another 100+ year old woman!
....And this quilt was made fot the first grandson of one of the Hilltop staff members.
